Renato Ancorotti

Ancorotti Cosmetics

Born in Crema in 1956, Renato Ancorotti is an entrepreneur in the cosmetics industry. After graduating in Quality Control, major in Cosmetics, from the University of Eastern Piedmont, in 1984 he realized the enormous potential of cosmetic outsourcing and founded Gamma Croma, a contract manufacturing company. In 2009, he created a new company with his daughter Enrica, Ancorotti Cosmetics, engaging in R&D activities and in the production of make-up and skincare products for major international brands. In 2005, Renato Ancorotti was honored with the title of Commendatore of the Italian Republic for his meritorious service to the community, which has seen him promote, over the years, employment policies and training programs in collaboration with schools and universities, and to serve as Provincial Councilor (Cremona) and Deputy Mayor responsible for culture (Crema). Appointed last June, he is currently chairman of Cosmetica Italia, the national association of cosmetic companies.
