Ian Watt is a Product Stewardship and Regulatory Manager for the Microbial Control business within DowDuPont with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a career spanning more than 25 years, including Sales, Product Development and roles of increasing responsibility in the Regulatory and Product Stewardship function. In this current role, he is responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of global regulatory, product stewardship and advocacy plans in the Personal and Home Care and Hygiene market segments.
Ian is chair of the Preservatives Working Group at the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI), vice-chair of the CEFIC European Biocidal Product Forum (EBPF) Management Committee, a past chair (on two occasions) of the UK Chemical Industries Association (CIA) Biocides Sector Group and chair and/or member of a number of sector- or product-specific industry task forces and consortia.
