Il Regolamento 1115/2023: prodotti a deforestazione zero e dovuta diligenza

IT: Molti ingredienti cosmetici derivano dall’olio di palma e palmisto. Queste due materie prime saranno disciplinate – insieme a caffè, cacao, legno, gomma, soia e carne bovina – dal nuovo Regolamento sui Prodotti a Deforestazione Zero. La nuova legge renderà obbligatorio dal 31.12.2026 tracciare che i beni venduti nell’UE non siano stati prodotti su terreni deforestati.

ENG: Many cosmetic ingredients are derived from palm oil and palm kernel oil. These two raw materials, together with coffee, cocoa, wood, rubber, soy and cattle, will be regulated under the new EU Deforestation Regulation. From 31 December 2026, the new legislation will require companies to ensure traceability and demonstrate that goods sold in the EU have not been produced on deforested land.
