Synopsis

ENG: Collagen and hyaluronic acid are the go-to ingredients for the dermis. The stratum corneum — the skin’s true barrier — is made up of over 90% keratin, yet until now, no ingredient has been able to preserve its native structure. HMWK keratin, extracted from wool through a non-degradative aqueous process, retains its native protein structure, offers high film-forming properties and has documented cellular bioactivity on keratinocytes and fibroblasts. Born from CNR research, Kerline presents a bioactive platform available in solution, microparticle and electrospun nanofiber patch formats for active delivery — opening up new formulation opportunities for functional skincare.
