For the first time at Making Cosmetics, we are introducing an exclusive feature dedicated to sustainability!

You can promote conclusive sustainability for:

• Raw materials

• Corporate initiatives/projects

• Finished product

On the afternoon of the first day there will be an award ceremony that will elect the winner for each category.

 

Criteria

 

RAW MATERIALS

• Ingredients that do not consume virgin resources and/or have a positive CO₂ impact

• Ingredients that generate a positive socioeconomic impact by enhancing local areas and native plant species

• Ingredients produced through low CO₂-impact processes using renewable energy

• Ingredients distributed through supply chains that minimize waste and disposal

FINISHED PRODUCT

99% of the ingredients must be:
– Natural according to ISO 16128
– Cosmos approved
– Free from the use of virgin resources

1% is free and optional for the preservative system:

• The product must be created using processes powered exclusively by renewable energy sources.

• The product packaging must be made from recycled materials or from renewable or refillable sources.

• The product is multifunctional, meaning it reduces environmental impact compared to purchasing multiple single-use products.

PROJECTS

• Projects that contribute to improving environmental conditions by generating a positive CO₂ credit

• Projects that improve the socioeconomic conditions of communities while maintaining a low CO₂ impact

• Industrial processes that significantly reduce resource consumption or create a positive CO₂ credit

• Processes that help reduce special waste and its disposal

 

Details

• Submit your entries by the 19 June

• All entries must be accompanied by adequate and complete information

• Cost of participation: 300 € cad or 1.000 € for 4 entries

• Your company will gain recognition and more publicity during and after the event

NB: The products that are accepted will be displayed in a dedicated area within the exhibition space.
