Lubrizol Advanced Materials Europe BVBA, employed as a product stewardship specialist responsible for providing technical guidance & product stewardship support for regional Personal and home care team & key customers. Ensure regulatory compliance to comply with chemical control laws, particularly as applied to the EMEAI region and proactively monitor, evaluate business impact and communicate legislation and regulations changes. Negotiate with regulatory authorities directly and through use of consultants to streamline approvals, answer questions, and resolve issues. Participate in regional trade associations to influence adoption of best practices in chemical regulatory advocacy programs critical to Lubrizol business success. Provide expert consultative services to global business and R&D organizations on compliance strategies for new and existing products, promote product stewardship ethic throughout the product life cycle and seek to improve the overall safety profile of Lubrizol products wherever possible.

NSF International, employed as a senior account manager for the water distribution program and responsible for the management of certification projects in contact with drinking water in the EMEA region. In addition the role included training and mentoring the new project manager and sales team. As a technical sales representative the role included prospecting and follow-up of potential customers in the EMEA region and the development of new certification schemes for the Italian market in collaboration with the regional business director.

 

May11-December13

NSF International, employed as a project manager for the water distribution program and responsible for the management of certification projects for manufacturers of products in contact with drinking water in the EMEA region. The role included assisting clients with the regulatory requirements for Europe (ACS/KTW/WRAS) and North America for products in contact with drinking water and managing the various certification projects. The role included the coordination of the various departments (field services, toxicology, laboratories, and accounting) regulatory assistance for the main international requirements and ensuring financial, logistic and communicational management of projects (total projects: ~$1Million per year). Additional responsibilities required assisting the business development projects for the EMEA region and developing new products for the chemical and water program.

Dow Corning S.A. Europe, employed as a hazard assessment specialist for the product safety & regulatory compliance department of one of the global leaders in the silicone market. The main responsibilities were to maintain and create safety data sheets based on the GHS/CLP regulation and providing expertise to internal and external inquiries.

 

August01-November10

RISI s.p.r.l, Part time work for the leading information provider for the global forest products industry, specialized in the publication of magazines, newsletters and organization of conferences. Employed as a marketing sales coordinator for all the internet products and responsible for the marketing of the company’s products, dealing with customer issues and processing the sales made.
